學習目標 Class Goal

  • 閱讀和認字: 學會 (學華語向前走) K1所涵蓋的內容。
    Reading & word recognition: Cover the content of Let’s Learn Chinese Vol. K1.
  • 聽和說: 學會在課程設計主題中的基本字彙和句型運用.
    Listening & Speaking: Students will learn basic vocabularies and sentence patterns used in the designed course.
    • 生理健康(physical health): 我的身體 (my body)、食物 (food)
    • 心理健康(mental health): 情緒 (emotions)、分享和關懷 (sharing & caring)
    • 社會生活(social interaction): 家人 (family members)、朋友 (friends)
    • 自然環境(natural environment ): 天氣和季節 (weather and seasons)、動物 (animals)
    • 物體描述 ( object description): 顏色 (colors)、形狀 (shapes)、比較 (comparisons)、聲音 (sound)
  • 除了語言的學習,在教材中也強調品德人文教育,讓小朋友能德智並重。
    In addition to language learning, character education is also the focus, so our kids will be well-rounded people.

HC-K Kindergarten


This class is designed for students to learn and master the Zhùyīn Fúhào (注音符號, phonetic symbols) and word pronunciations. Students will also learn basic Chinese words for daily life communication.

Topics emphasized for this class include:

  • Greetings 
  • Name
  • Age (numbers, birthday, months)
  • Family members
  • Pets (animals)
  • Colors
  • Shapes
  • Fruits (food)
  • Body parts
  • Activities
  • Preference (like, dislike); have/ don’t have
  • Self-introduction
  • Culture introduction and celebration: Autumn Moon festival, Chinese New Year. 

HC-01 1st Grade


課程簡介

今年一年級班以學華語向前走為主要教材,全新版華語為輔助教材。上課使用注音和繁體字。 學華語向前走課本也附有拼音、簡體字和英文作為參考。 教學目標是認識課文裡介紹的國字、注音和對話。上課和功課包括聽說讀寫。

教學內容可分以下十種主題:

  • 互相問候和介紹
  • 認識家庭成員和家族成員
  • 三餐、食物及超級市場
  • 天氣和季節
  • 生日和日期
  • 興趣和玩具
  • 東西的位置及方向
  • 上學的交通方式
  • 電話禮貌
  • 中國字的由來和演變

HC-02 2nd Grade


二年級課程簡介

學習目標

  • 二年級的課程是在一年級的基礎上繼續中文聽説讀寫的學習
  • 提高對中文學習的興趣
  • 將課堂所學使用於家庭生活中

教材

  • 學華語向前走第二冊
  • 教師自製輔助教材

教學内容:

  • 以學華語向前走教材為主軸,教授包括:自我介紹、家人、食物、季節、過年、顔色、寵物、城市、方向、動物、視頻聊天等等與日常生活相關的題材。

教學方式:

  • 强化正確發音
  • 練習基本生活會話
  • 熟練注音或拼音,以幫助識字及閲讀
  • 介紹漢字由來,解釋漢字的形狀、部件、形聲,透過圖文以視覺方法加强記憶
  • 使用部首進行字的分析與歸類,幫助記憶
  • 使用輔助工具做正確的筆畫書寫
  • 介紹中華文化及節慶,講述民間故事
  • 透過唱兒歌及玩遊戲的方式學習中文
  • 使用多種網路工具達到有效語文學習的目標

Learning Objectives:

  • Build upon the first grade course level, the second grade students continue learning the next level of Chinese language in four skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Promote the interests in Chinese language learning
  • Apply learned skills to daily conversation at home

Course Materials:

  • Let’s Learn Chinese volume 2
  • Supplementary class handouts

Course Contents:

Students learn various topics covered in the textbook. All topics are related to everyday life such as introduce oneself, family member, food, season, Chinese New Year, color, pet, animal, city, orientation, video chat, etc.

Method of Instruction:

  • to work on accurate pronunciation
  • to practice basic dialogues and expression
  • to master Chinese phonics- zhuyin or pinyin- to promote reading comprehension
  • to introduce the origin of Chinese characters; to explain the shape, components, or phono-semantic of a character; to improve character memory by using pictures and visual learning
  • to improve character memory by identifying its radical; to analyze and categorize characters by their radicals
  • to use online tools to practice stoke orders
  • to introduce Chinese cultures, practices, and festivals; to tell Chinese folk stories
  • to learn Chinese language through songs and games
  • to use various apps to make language learning more efficient

HC-03 3rd Grade

HC-04 4th Grade


課程簡介

本學期將以全新版華語第四冊生字為主要教材. 秋季班將教授六課課文. 課本生字選自教育部所編錄的 2,800常用字庫, 對於學生將來讀寫的能力多少有些幫助. 至於課本課文, 將考慮學生程度以及學習興趣, 略做調整. 課程中將加入文化節慶, 與美國的文化節慶做比較對照, 希望藉此培養出學生對中文學習的興趣. 並盡量以實做經驗, 如日常會話, 觀看影片, 中文演說等專題, 來豐富學生學習.

對於學生的學習成果評量, 秋季班將有語文比賽. 所有的準備與復習工作, 都將併入教學內容之中.

本課程的目標在於強調如何教導學生將來在需要用到中文時, 能夠以手邊的資料, 或是以上網搜尋的方式, 來完成中文的書寫與溝通的目的. 盡量避免枯躁無味的課文生字背誦, 或是文字抄寫. 期待學生將來能對中文產生濃厚的興趣. 在中文學校畢業後, 即使上課所學的東西已不記得, 仍然可以用課堂中學到的技巧, 來達到使用中文與他人交流的目的.

  • 六次測驗成績: 60% (考試時可攜帶上課筆記, 測驗內容為上課教授生字的衍生與應用)
  • Homework: 30%

    • 認識唐詩結構 Basic structures & rules of Tang Poem
    • 成語故事 Idiom Stories
    • 學會看/轉換陰(農)曆 Learn to read lunar calendar & convert solar-lunar date

HC-06 6th Grade


  • 教材: 學華語向前走(Let’s Learn Chinese Book)第六冊
    • 課文對話、詞彙和語法由淺入深,注重聽、說、讀、寫等四種語言技能平衡發展,在學習後能應用在生活中。
    • 以互動式的課堂遊戲及任務活動帶動學習興趣。
    • 以注音及正體字為主,兼顧漢語拼音及簡體字。
    • 本冊學習到:生詞/短語:173個;漢字:179個;語法句型:35個。
    • 課本附錄本冊課文英譯、注音符號和漢語頻因對照表,末頁附有活動字卡。

  • Textbook: Let’s Learn Chinese Book, Volume 6
    • The book is based on a balanced development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills that can be applied in daily life.
    • Interactive classroom games and task activities are used to stimulate interest in learning.
    • The focus is on phonetic and orthographic characters, while taking into account Hanyu Pinyin and simplified Chinese characters.
    • The book covers: 173 vocabulary words/phrases, 179 Chinese characters, and 35 grammatical sentence patterns.
    • The appendices include English translation, phonetic symbols, and Chinese frequency lists.

HC-07 7th Grade


教學內容包括會話課文、生詞表、句型練習及各種應用練習,並適度搭配韻文及遊戲。課文內容係以日常生活對話為主軸,兼具溝通、文化、連結、比較與社區等面向,適合小學至初中的年齡層,目的在培養學習者日常生活及運用華語進行溝通的能力,讓學生在家庭或華語環境中即可應用。課後練習則以任務型教學為重,巧妙融入各種溝通模式,包括:雙向溝通、表演詮釋和單向理解,藉以增進學生聽、說、讀、寫以及跨文化各方面之華語文能力。 

HC-08 8th Grade


教學方針:

希望學生可以從複誦詞句,理解課文,循序漸進地累積中文能力到能夠實際應用所學至日常生活!

教學內容:

  • 聆聽與說話
    以生動有趣的方式引導學生學習語文的興趣,再以課文的情境、圖片讓學生反覆練習說話!
  • 閱讀與識字
    讓學生習慣閱讀中文,提出詞語,進行辭彙解釋,進一步增加中文的字彙知識!
  • 寫作與技巧
    藉著課文的大聲閱讀, 對話練習,讓學生明白整篇句子的結構,文章內容的大意!

2021-2022 First Semester

Goals:

All students able to repeat and create sentences while understanding the class material. In addition, students can incorporate skills they learn in class into their everyday life. 

Class Material:

  • Listening and speaking
    With the usage of fun and constantly changing material, students will be able to remain focused through class. Then I will use images and content in the textbook to help students practice speaking. 
  • Reading
    I will let students read the content first then have them propose questions of their own. Then we will pick apart phrases and uncover hidden meanings.
  • Writing
    Have students practice reading aloud and have conversations among themselves. This way they become use to basic conversation etiquettes in Chinese. 

HC-09 9th Grade


教學目的:

  • 激發並鼓勵高年級學生持續學習中文的興趣和積極性
  • 完成華語向前走第九冊十二課全部課程
  • 在八年級基礎上, 擴大學生的識字及詞彙量, 及對中華文化風俗人情道德標準的認知,進一步提昇學生在中文聼說讀寫四種技能的平衡發展

教學內容 : 

  • 華語向前走為九年級選定的上課主要教材
  • 第九冊教材分為AB兩本, 共十二課。 學習核心為課文對話, 生詞/ 短語, 生字, 語法和句型。 以互動式的課堂遊戲及任務帶動, 達到自然而然的語言學習
  • 第九冊作業本, 每一課均包括聼說讀寫四種練習。 作業本採建構設計, 以循序漸進的方式鞏固所學。 

教學要求:

  • 學生能辨識及掌握第九冊所學生字,生詞,及句型的用法
  • 學生能應對與課文相關的對話練習
  • 學生能積極參與校內舉辦旳文化節相關語言競賽及演講活動
